The American Academy of Cardiovascular Sleep Medicine is an academic organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge base pertaining to the convergence of cardiovascular disease and sleep disorders. The AACSM focuses on supporting clinical and academic research, educating healthcare providers, increasing public awareness, working with governmental and commercial healthcare agencies to help define and refine practice guidelines and establishing itself as the primary resource for all health related issues pertaining to heart disease and sleep disorders.
