Dr. Dan Gartenberg is a prominent sleep scientist and entrepreneur with a deep expertise in the intersection of sleep, technology, and health. He holds a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology and an adjunct professor role at Penn State. His research primarily focuses on enhancing sleep quality through innovative, technology-driven interventions. Dr. Gartenberg is particularly well-known for his work on “smart sound and light” technology, which aims to optimize sleep patterns and overall well-being. Such technology was recently validated in a Randomized Controlled Trial, where it worked alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia-based interventions.
