Name: William Noah, MD
Dr. William Noah grew up in and completed his medical training (where he was Chief Resident) in Tennessee and his pulmonary fellowship at the University of Utah where he was awarded a Parker B. Francis Research Fellowship. In 1992, he returned to Tennessee to start a pulmonary and sleep medicine practice. Sleep Centers of Middle Tennessee (SCMT), has grown into one of the largest in the US.
Dr. Noah pioneered Remote Patient Monitoring for sleep by requiring modems on all PAP patients beginning in 2006 and his 3-month adherence data helped later sway CMS to require adherence for reimbursement.
In 2020 Dr. Noah received the Visionary Award from the Tennessee Public Health Association for developing a way to diagnose and treat patients with OSA across Tennessee and six neighboring states during COVID when other programs had shut down.
Dr. Noah is now CEO of SleepRes and in June 2022 introduced a revolutionary new device to improve PAP adherence, the V-Com.™
