About the Presenter:
Dr. Sweetman is a Program Manager with the Australasian Sleep Association and has academic status at Flinders University. During his PhD, he coined the term co-morbid insomnia and sleep apnea (COMISA) to draw more research and clinical attention to this prevalent and debilitating condition and studied the effectiveness of treatment approaches for patients with COMISA. Dr Sweetman continues to lead epidemiological work, systematic reviews, and clinical trials in the COMISA field. He is currently leading a primary care education and implementation program, to improve the management of sleep health and sleep disorders in Australian primary care.
